Compton G.IRLS Club will be joining the owner of "The Salt Eaters Bookshop", Asha Grant, in a virtual book club.  We will be reading "The Stars and the Blackness Between Them" by Junauda Petrus.

Junuada Petrus' "The Stars and the Blackness Between Them", is a young adult fiction story of two Black girls from very different backgrounds finding love and happiness in a world that seems determined to deny them both.

All participants in the book club have been given a copy of the book FREE due to donations and generosity from folks who follow and keep up with the club.

The first meeting will take place on December 17th with an end of the month follow up on December 29th.
