Gold Winners of Inaugural Anthem Awards

Compton G.IRLS Club is a winner in partnership with TBWA\Chiat Day LA and Quickbooks in the 1st ever Anthem Awards in the category of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion”.

Our partnership project created, curated, and funded by Quickbooks and TBWLA / Chiat Day “Business G.IRLS” was a 1-month workshop that developed the entrepreneurial skills in BIPOC youth in the city of Compton. There were workshops and mentorship from the Quickbooks professionals, as well as a cash stipend for each participant to seed their businesses.

This partnership resulted in press in LA Times, a commercial with Quickbooks that was featured on CNN, and other great things. Thank you again for the opportunity.
