Your Body Knows: A Mind-Body Reset for Stress & Self-Confidence
Join us in an interactive workshop where participants led by Shanetta McDonald, will learn simple, science-backed tools to understand and respond to their body’s signals. Through guided breathwork, gentle movement, and creative writing we’ll explore how stress shows up physically and how to shift into a state of calm and confidence.
By the end, each attendee will leave with their own personalized “Calm Menu” — a set of quick, accessible practices they can use anytime. This workshop is designed to be fun, creative, and empowering, giving youth a deeper connection to themselves and their inner resilience.
Shanetta McDonald, a Somatic Life Coach and storyteller. But after years of pushing and performing while recovering from Complex-PTSD and an eating disorder behind closed doors, she is now focused on coaching women in discovering their mind/body connection through somatic healing. She believes that your story can’t change if your body still believes the old one. Through her techniques she’s helped hundreds of women explore what it means to trust your intuition, get clarity, reclaim your story, and come home to your body.
