Cyber G.IRL Applications now open!
It’s that time again, Cyber G.IRL 2023 is open for applicants.
What’s Cyber G.IRL? This is a 9-week cohort focused on coding, designing, and writing articles for our digital magazine.
We will collaborate with other girls and youth to code and create this project together.
Don’t worry, you need absolutely NO EXPERIENCE, just a willingness to commit and learn with an amazing group of teens and youth.
We will be supplying everything you need for this cohort. That includes transportation if needed, meals, and yes a laptop for use during the cohort.
This journey will be divided into 3 tracks:
Coders
Graphic Design and Art Direction
Journalism
We have some amazing hosts and workshop leaders from those industries too. Also, you know Compton G.IRLS Club loved to show out so there will be some amazing swag and goodies… and of course… Lunch!
The ages to apply are 12-19. we will be meeting 9 consecutive Saturdays starting February 18th.
