Compton G.irls Club, in partnership with AAIMM Village Fund, will host our second annual 7-week cohort for pregnant Black teen/ young adult moms and/ or moms (ages 16 to 24 years old) of children 1 year old or younger. πŸ‘ΆπŸΎπŸ€°πŸΎπŸ‘ΆπŸΏπŸ§‘πŸΏβ€πŸΌ

If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you know teens and young moms have always been close to our hearts. This interactive workshops and field trip series will help young mothers navigate parenthood.

We will touch on things like how to get WIC and cook with the food you get. We will meet with a therapist to help us communicate and advocate for ourselves and the baby, family planning, and much more.

This is a 7-week series built out for pregnant folks ages 16-24. OR parents of babies 18 months or younger.

The first workshop will take place:
Saturday, June 29th, from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm.
The rest will be every Saturday at the same time.

We will have soft childcare available for the event. Meaning that siblings must be potty trained.

Space is limited, and participants are expected to attend all workshops.
