LA County Parks After Dark Wrap Up!

We wrapped up our Parks After Dark partnership with LA County and wow! It was the sun.

Every Friday this summer we held Arts and other creative classes at Helen Keller Park in Inglewood. We had workshops that focused on planting, painting, scrapbooking, and even sun printing.

All of these were free to the community. We served over 50 kids and the retention rate was an all-time high for us.

One of the most special parts of this program is that we were able to create two PAID internship opportunities for our teen G.IRL members. These girls met weekly and curated each meeting.
