As a queer, gender-fluid Southeast Asian woman, former athlete, and Nail Artist Lisa grew up feeling like she rarely fit in, especially in the beauty industry. Through her lived experiences she turned to nail art as an outlet to cope with bullying and depression. Lisa discovered the pure joy of adorning her nails as a form of self-discovery, self-expression, and healing.

We learned about the history of nail art and how to create art on your nails right at home. No experience necessary.

Each registered participant received a goodie bag from Faceted Beauty® for the nail art activity: a nail charm, handcrafted mini cuticle oil, wooden cuticle stick, nail polish remover pad, mini nail file, bobby pin, toothpick, and swag.
