Abalone Cove Hike Recap

We hit the road for Earth Day and took a hike to Abalone Cove in Rancho Palos Verdes.

This was some of our girls' first time hiking and some of our youths' first time seeing the beach.

We explored the hills, roads, and even the tide pools in the area and, of course, had lunch afterward.

Representatives from Black Girl Environmentalists also shared thoughts on environmental justice and how it affects communities of color.

It's always a good day with Compton G.IRLS Club, and hopefully, we'll see you at the next event!

All of our programs and events are free to our participants. They do not worry about fees, food, or transportation.

Consider donating to our organization to keep this quality of programs for our girls and youth.
