In My Diaper Bag - Young Motherhood Series

Compton G.IRLS Club cares about ALL girls from the hood.

That’s why we proudly announce we are re-opening our cohort for Black Teen and Young Mothers.

This will be a cohort of 7 workshops starting July 1st that will focus on:

- Breastfeeding
- Maximizing your WIC benefits
- Finding community with other younger moms
- Finding resources within your community
- What to pack in your diaper bag
- And a baby shower/maternity shoot at the end of the cohort

You know we aren’t cheap, and we get the BEST for our girls.

These will be interactive, hands-on workshops. We will take field trips, cook, and learn how to care for our babies together.

This is for pregnant moms or moms with babies up to 1-year-old.

We will also be offering transportation to and from the events.

Childcare will be made available as well.

This is series was developed specifically for Black mothers in partnership with our grantors, The Village Fund, to address the number of Black mothers and children dying prematurely.

BUT! Please, if you need this workshop and are based in #Compton #Watts #Willowbrook and surrounding cities, sign up. No teen or young moms will be turned away.
