Chillin' Under the Rainbow - Annual Pride Picnic
Join us to continue to celebrate pride month at Chillin' Under the Rainbow our Annual Pride Picnic
We will have a cozy pride reading room with books by and about queer stories.
We will have two queer led art classes, from @Ray_RogerThat, a Contemporary Abstract Artist where we will create a collaborative artwork that represents the Compton G.IRLS Club and reflects what we’ve learned by being a part of our community.
We will also create pride focused jewelry with Katrina Aileen of @Lagrimas.De.Oro
Our field will be from 10:00 am - 3:00 with lunch and all materials included.
Our picnic will take place at El Dorado Park 7550 E Spring St, Long Beach, 90815. We will be taking a bus together from the clubhouse, if you would like to meet us there please let us know when signing up.
Open to all queer girls and gender non conforming youth as well as allies (an ally is someone who identifies as “straight” but stands up for the rights of queer folks)! 🌈
