You Good Fam? A Virtual Mental health Series hosted by Denise Brady, LMFT.

September is recognized as National Suicide Prevention Month and keeping that in mind we have a month-long series of courses and workshops surrounding mental health. All classes will be led by @denisebrady_therapist LMFT an African American Licensed therapist that specializes in generational trauma and LGBTQIA+ issues.

September 14th our workshop will be for youth coping with the challenges of being 1st generation. This can be a first-generation college student, first-generation American, or anything else that makes you feel the pressure of being "The FIRST" and how to cope with those feelings that parents and others can put on you.

On September 21st, we will speak about complicated relationships. This can be a friendship that feels more like a "Frenemy" situation. Or a romantic relationship that leaves you feeling more hurt than loved.

On September 28th, we will be talking about coping with anxiety. Do you feel anxious about COVID? Or maybe about going to school? Or maybe just dealing with life in general. This is the support group for you.

Lastly, on October 5th we will be talking about emotional wellness. This will focus on creating a self-care routine, and making a toolkit to support your mental health.

All workshops are FREE and will be held via Zoom. Links will only be given to folks who sign up for privacy.

Open to ALL girls/ femmes/ and nonbinary youth and young adults.

You can sign up HERE for any of the workshops.
